British Airways is increasing services to a range of long-haul destinations from London Gatwick and Heathrow in time for the 2026 summer season, with more flights planned to Asia, North America and the Caribbean.
Bangkok
The airline will begin year-round flights from London Gatwick to Bangkok, shifting away from its previous winter-only schedule. From summer 2026, the service will run three times a week, increasing to six weekly flights over the winter. The change will add close to 60,000 seats on the route next year.
British Airways has also expanded its codeshare partnership with Bangkok Airways, allowing onward connections to destinations such as Phuket and Phnom Penh.
Jamaica
Gatwick–Kingston flights will rise to four per week in summer 2026, adding more than 300 seats weekly between the UK and Jamaica. The island’s tourist board has said it expects to welcome five million visitors by March 2026, with the extra flights feeding into that growth.
Miami and Dallas
Flights from Heathrow to Miami will return to a twice-daily schedule, while services to Dallas-Fort Worth will also resume daily.
Las Vegas
Las Vegas flights from Heathrow will increase from 10 to 13 per week.
San Diego and Austin
Both San Diego and Austin will see services rise to 14 per week.
New York
Flights to New York JFK will be consolidated at Heathrow, with nine daily services. One of the new flights will be operated by a Boeing 777-200, offering the airline’s First and Club Suite cabins.
Middle East
Bahrain will move to a daily service, more than doubling current frequencies. Flights to Saudi Arabia will also increase, with Jeddah rising to five per week and Riyadh to 14 per week. Doha will also be served 14 times a week.

Short-haul updates
On the short-haul side, Rabat in Morocco and Graz in Austria were added earlier this year. BA Euroflyer, the airline’s Gatwick-based subsidiary, will operate year-round services to both destinations starting in the 2025 winter season.
