Air New Zealand has launched a long-haul sale today, offering discounted flights across Asia, North America, and further afield through its partner airlines.

The sale includes fares such as Honolulu from $499, Shanghai from $570, and London and Paris from $1060, with bookings open until midnight on 22 September.

General Manager Long Haul Kylie McGillivray-Brown said the sale was designed to encourage travellers to plan bigger trips. She said many New Zealanders enjoy the idea of travelling far, and the sale aimed to make those destinations more accessible.

“It’s not just Air New Zealand’s own routes on offer – partner airlines also provide connections into the UK, Europe, Southeast Asia and India,” McGillivray-Brown said.

She added that destinations from Hong Kong to Houston and Bangkok to Bali were included, and the airline expected demand to be strong.
