Riyadh Air is introducing a next-generation inflight map platform for its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner fleet, created with aviation tech company FlightPath3D.
The new system will let passengers track their journey in real time, view speed and altitude data, and explore destinations through a more immersive interface.
“Riyadh Air challenged us to reimagine what an inflight map could be,” said Duncan Jackson, President of FlightPath3D. “This collaboration delivers a solution both innovative and beautiful. Guests will enjoy an experience that informs and inspires, aligning perfectly with Riyadh Air’s forward-thinking approach.”
The platform is designed to be simple to use, with interactive features that show the full flight path and details about Riyadh Air’s wider network. It’s intended to turn flying time into an opportunity for discovery, giving passengers more context about where they are and where they’re headed.
The rollout is part of Riyadh Air’s wider preparations ahead of launch, with the airline building partnerships aimed at creating a more connected, modern travel experience.
