Cathay Pacific will extend complimentary inflight Wi-Fi to all Cathay Gold members travelling in any cabin from 15 November 2025. The airline also plans to expand the perk to all Cathay members flying in Premium Economy before the end of the year.

The move means passengers travelling in First and Business class, as well as Diamond and Gold members across all cabins, will have free access to onboard Wi-Fi.

Cathay’s Director of Customer Travel, Erica Peng, said the change reflects passengers’ growing need to stay connected while flying. “At Cathay Pacific, we recognise how important it is for our passengers to stay connected in the air, whether they are travelling for business or leisure. With the extension of our complimentary Wi-Fi service, we are continuing to further refine the travel experience for our valued passengers,” she said.

The rollout will allow more travellers to browse the internet, check emails, stream audio, use messaging and social media apps, and access cloud-based services during their flight. Passengers can connect one device at a time, with the option to switch between devices whenever they choose.

All travellers can also access cathaypacific.com and the Cathay Shop for free from any cabin.

Cathay Pacific says it remains among a small number of airlines worldwide offering both full-seatback entertainment and high-speed inflight Wi-Fi across its entire fleet. Premium Economy passengers who are not yet Cathay members are encouraged to sign up to access the complimentary Wi-Fi and other benefits once the rollout begins.
