Air New Zealand is offering support to travellers caught up in Air Canada’s recent flight attendant strike, which disrupted services between 15 and 20 August.

Customers with Air New Zealand-issued tickets (starting with 086) and connecting flights on Air Canada during that period can rebook to a later date without additional charges, provided travel is completed by 30 September. Travellers also have the option to keep the value of their fare as a credit if they choose not to fly.

Air New Zealand is directing passengers whose Air Canada flights were cancelled to contact the Canadian carrier directly to explore alternative options.

The airline says it will continue to align its policies with Air Canada’s updates, with the latest information available on Air Canada’s website.
