The Melbourne Renegades have signed a multi-year deal with Carnival Cruise Line, which becomes an official partner of the club’s BBL and WBBL teams, as well as the presenting partner of the Gades Arcade.

The agreement marks Carnival’s first move into Big Bash sponsorship and will include competitions, promotions, and matchday activations for fans across the summer.

To launch the partnership, the Renegades and Carnival are running a competition for supporters to win an eight-night Tasmanian cruise aboard Carnival Adventure. The trip, departing Sydney on 24 November 2025, is valued at more than $5,000. Entries open at 4pm on Thursday 21 August.

Renegades general manager James Rosengarten said the arrangement fits with the club’s focus on family-friendly experiences.
“It’s great to have Carnival Cruise Line join the Renegades family. They’re all about creating fun, memorable experiences – which is exactly what we aim to deliver on and off the field,” he said. “Whether it’s the energy of a Big Bash matchday or the excitement of setting off on a holiday at sea, we want our fans to feel part of something they’ll remember. This partnership is another way we can make that happen.”

Carnival Cruise Line’s senior director of sales and marketing, Anton Loeb, said the company was keen to tap into the connection between the team and its supporters.
“The Renegades have an incredible connection with their fans, and we are excited to bring Carnival’s signature fun and vibrant energy to gamedays and beyond,” he said. “From activations to exclusive fan offers and competitions, we look forward to creating unforgettable moments that fans and their families can enjoy together, both in the stadium and at sea.”

As part of the sponsorship, Carnival will take a lead role in the Gades Arcade at GMHBA Stadium and Marvel Stadium during the upcoming Big Bash season.
