Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas takes centre stage on Travel Guides this Sunday

Get ready to set sail from your lounge room – Travel Guides is back this Sunday, 25 May, with an all-new episode featuring Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas and a jam-packed Kiwi adventure.

Australia’s favourite armchair critics are trading planes for a cruise ship, as the 2025 Travel Guides cast jumps aboard for a 10-night journey to New Zealand. Expect jaw-dropping scenery, outrageous onboard antics, and plenty of laughs as they explore hotspots like Milford Sound, Dunedin and Wellington aboard one of Royal Caribbean’s beloved Quantum-Class ships.

Back for another round of cheeky commentary and hilarious holiday highs (and lows) are the iconic Fren family, besties Karly and Bri, dynamic trio Kev, Dorian and Teng, and loved-up couples Matt and Brett, plus Kevin and Janetta. For most of them, it’s their first time cruising with Royal Caribbean – and nothing is off limits.

From gravity-defying rock climbing to skydiving over the open sea with RipCord by iFly, the Guides throw themselves into every wild and wacky experience. There’s dodgeball in the SeaPlex, cocktails shaken by robots at the Bionic Bar, five-star dining at the Chef’s Table, competitive towel-folding, glow-in-the-dark silent discos, and of course, some late-night karaoke chaos.

The fun doesn’t stop at sea. On land, the crew hops on croc bikes along Wellington’s waterfront, explores the gothic glamour of Dunedin’s Larnach Castle, and soaks up the sights and stories of New Zealand’s capital – all with the usual Travel Guides sass and sparkle.

Tune in this Sunday on Channel Nine for the cruise holiday you didn’t know you needed – minus the passport.
